The Gwinnett Veterans Resource Center is always happy to welcome new volunteers to the Center. Volunteers ages 21 years and up can help at our welcome desk, assist with office organization and administrative support, follow up with our veterans, assemble blessing bags, write notes of encouragement, offer computer support, and more. There are a few times of the year when families with children and youth can come help with collection drives and other service projects.
Phyllis Horton is an AARP volunteer who supports the GVRC as a receptionist helping veterans and their families through the intake process and answering phone calls.
Richard Hawkshead is a Vietnam veteran volunteering at the GVRC. Richard interacts and assists veterans who walk through our doors.
